Ultimate Health HMO appoints new board chairman

The Board of Directors of Ultimate Health HMO has appointed Mrs Angela Ajala as the chairman of the Board of Directors.

Ajala was appointed to drive the five-year’s business growth agenda of the HMO.

According to a statement, Ajala is a pioneer investor in Ultimate Health HMO.

The statement read in part, “Ajala has over 30 years of experience in the education and training industry and has been the Executive Director of Ladela Schools since 1997. She earned Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and has completed courses in different specialisations ranging from business innovation and strategy to leadership and counselling. She is a Goldman Sachs scholar and alumnus of the Enterprise Development Centre, Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos.

Speaking with The PUNCH, Ajala said she would prioritise women’s health.

She added, “With the new National Health Insurance Act, it is now mandatory for every Nigerian to be enrolled under the insurance scheme. Women contribute a lot to the Gross Domestic Product of Nigeria and many times, they do so much without paying attention to their health, so we will ensure all women are enrolled and ensure that they are healthy.
