The R&B star confirmed the release date on Monday after Elsa Majimbo, Kenyan internet comedienne, spoke about the project.
Pharrell Williams, a Grammy-winning US singer, had earlier described Tiwa’s EP as containing potential classics.
“Anybody that doesn’t get that shouldn’t be listening to music. You’re right, it’s not a commercial song, but that’s a classic,” Williams, who is also a renowned producer, had said.
“And be clear that it’s okay to have a classic. That right there, that’s like boat music, that’s like barbeque music, that’s like self-reflection music.”
Tiwa’s debut album ‘Once Upon a Time’ was put out in 2013. She released her second ‘R.E.D’ in December 2015.
In September 2017, she came through with her debut EP ‘Sugarcane’ and followed it up with another album ‘Celia’ in 2020.
With 13 tracks, ‘Celia’ featured stars like Davido, Naira Marley, Sam Smith, Stefflon Don, Hamzaa, and Dice Ailes.
