Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems has been nominated alongside Rihanna for a Golden Globe award for their song “Lift Me Up.”
The spectacular ascension to the top of the worldwide music scene by Tems continues, with the latest accomplishment being a nomination for the prestigious Golden Globe Awards in the category of “Best Original Song.”
Since January 1944, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has been the organization that bestows plaudits in the form of the Golden Globe Awards. These awards recognize outstanding achievements in the fields of film and television in both the United States and other countries.
Tems, Rihanna, Oscar winner Ludwig Gorranson, and Ryan Coogler all contributed to the writing of the record, which also serve as the theme song for Marvel’s blockbuster film “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
The song will be performed by Ryan Coogler. On October 28, 2022, the song that was written as a homage to the life and legacy of Chadwick Boseman was made available for public consumption.
