Africori Music Group announces global distribution deal with leading Nigerian label Chocolate City

Pan-African music company Africori has agreed a deal with Nigeria’s leading record label Chocolate City Music to handle their worldwide digital distribution. The deal covers international services including Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, Amazon, Deezer and Pandora, as well as Africori’s network of local stores and services on the African continent.

Founded in 2005, Chocolate City is widely regarded as one of the biggest and most successful record labels in Africa and has pioneered Nigerian hip hop in West Africa and around the globe. The label has released music from acclaimed recording artists M.I., Femi Kuti, Ice Prince, Jesse Jagz, DJ Lambo, DJ Calse, Victoria Kimani, Dice Alles, Koker & Pryse to name a few.

Africori Music Group (AMG) is the leading pan-African digital music company on the continent, with offices in Johannesburg and London and representation in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Uganda and Rwanda.
