Nigerian Us-based Singer, Jemiriye Honoured By Martin Luther King’s Family

Ex Nigerian Idol singer, Jemiriye Adeniji who has been living in the US and doing music over there, has been honoured by the most powerful and influential Black family in the United States, the Kings family.

Jemiriye who has been an extremely active artist in Pittsburgh (her home city) and constantly travelling all over the world to perform her unique form of African-Nigerian music was awarded the Outstanding International Artist Award at the 10th Annual AD King Foundation Youth Empowerment Award Gala held recently.

Jemiriye, a graduate of the Nigerian Institute Of Journalism Lagos took to her Facebook page to announce the happy news while sharing photos of her performance and speech at the event.

The event marks the 10th Anniversary of AD King Foundation and the 88th birthday of Dr Naomi Ruth Barbara King.
