Global Infoswift (CR2 Partners) has received global recognition by Celent, a leading research and advisory firm, for boosting digital banking experience in Nigeria through its CR2 platform.
According to Celent, CR2’s platform’s functional scope is broad and demonstrates capabilities in customer onboarding and sales optimisation, as well as supporting retail and corporate lines of business.
Speaking at a media parley, Managing Director, Global Infoswift (CR2), Afolabi Oke, said the firm’s integrated switch and independent ATM/Kiosk client gave CR2 an edge and differentiated it from other platforms.
He said another key differentiator for CR2 was its native money management capabilities, which enabled it to reach the critical mass required to invest in the local market, unlike many specialist PFM vendors operating in markets.
According to Oke, the firm’s omnichannel platform renders services to customers across all channels, both digital and offline. He said: “Clients can perform the same banking operations, whether they use a website, a mobile app, a call centre, a bank’s branch, or any other available channels. We have effectively demonstrated this capability with Access Bank, among others.
“More so, omnichannel solutions are required to drive the financial inclusion initiative of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and with COVID-19, we need to use digital channels more than ever.”
Meanwhile, he said CR2 was named Top Performer in the global edition of Celent’s report, titled, “The Modern Digital Banking Channels Platform: Who Delivers 2020?,” as most clients affirmed that the platform was easy to use, stable, flexible, robust, and had a great user interface among others.
“Owing to the gap identified in services rendered by other ATM support companies and the need to increase the uptime of ATMs, as banks move to dominate the retail space in the country, we have assembled a team of well trained and committed engineers with vast knowledge in ATM support of all notable ATM models,” he added.
