Fidelity Bank rewards 2,600 customers with N2.6bn

Fidelity Bank Plc said it had rewarded over 2,600 of its customers with over N2.6bn within the last four years.

It said the amount was given to the customers under the bank’s loyalty reward scheme.

Speaking at an event where cash prizes were given to customers of the bank, the Manager, Wuse Branch in Abuja, Mr Vincent Ijeoma, said the move was part of efforts to improve saving culture among Nigerians.

He said that the bank would continue to come up with innovative products that would meet the needs of its customers.

He said, “As a bank, we take it upon ourselves to give to the society and that is what we have done by giving out over N2.6bn to over 2,600 customers in four years under the Fidelity Bank loyalty reward.

“We have people that were rewarded with N500, 000; some won N250, 090 while others were given N150, 000.  So that is what we are doing. We value all our customers at Fidelity Bank.”

Also speaking, the Manager, Fidelity Bank, Mararaba Branch, Handatu Ayuba, said the move would help to improve the financial inclusion drive of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

She added that Fidelity loyalty reward initiative would also help to encourage savings culture among Nigerians.
