GDL, a financial services company in Lagos, Nigeria is organizing a conference for stakeholders in the private sector on creating trans-generational businesses.
At present, the Nigerian failure rate for start-ups is as bad as the global average, if not worse. But the more worrisome malaise is the near-total absence of transgenerational enterprises.
Since start-ups suffer a high failure rate, usually estimated at 70% or higher, when companies grow beyond the vulnerable start-up phase and enter the stability phase where they are thriving and financially successful, it becomes important that such companies aim to thrive beyond the founder to become transgenerational. This will create corporate icons which become important economic pillars making substantial contribution to output, employment and growth of the middle class.
The strengthening of the middle class is pertinent to economic development, and Emerging National Corporates and National Corporates are a key focus of the GDL Enterprise Transgenerational Transformation Program.
The conference will also provide useful initiatives for the development of SMEs and MSMEs in Nigeria.
One of the goals of the conference is to enlist companies that are Emerging Corporates and National Corporates and provide guidance on how to institutionalize prior to divestment.
That is why THE GDL CONFERENCE is a MUST ATTEND!
Admission requires pre-registration.
