Bridging the Gap pt. 2: Connecting Entrepreneurs to Developers & Designers

Bridging the Gap: Connecting Entrepreneurs to Developers & Designers

GBF, Ingressive, and Rising Tide are partnering with Citi for the next installment of our Ecosystem Hangout. This event will be held on Friday, September 14th at the IBM Innovation Center in Victoria Island. We are convening developers, designers, corporate partners, investors, and entrepreneurs to bridge the gap between entrepreneurs and the tech community.

Great ideas will fail to reach their full potential in today’s environment without connecting to tech innovation. Unfortunately; entrepreneurs, developers, and designers don’t speak the same language. During part one, we convened all elements of the tech community including developers, designers, entrepreneurs, corporate partners, and investors to share their experiences or lack thereof. The result was our identifying key issues that all parties go through when working with the other.

Join us on September 14th let us pick through our barriers to communication with industry professionals to share ways to overcome these barriers. Our community deserves the communication, your business needs these answers…

This Ecosystem Hangout will follow the usual protocol. Our presenter(s) provide content that will be followed by a question and answer session. Entrepreneurs, corporate partners, and investors should leave with a better understanding of how to engage developers and designers for their projects. Developers and designers will have a better grasp of the knowledge gap and set better expectations going forward. All will experience better communication and improved execution going forward. After the Q&A session the audience and presenters will have light refreshments and network.

All presentation materials will be collected and shared on our Entrepreneurial Development Group (EDG) Africa Slack channel. In the weeks following the physical meet up, presenters will join the channel for a webinar. Attendees and EDG Africa group members will have time to digest the course materials and come for follow up questions.
