BaigeWallet launches in Nigeria

To power wealth creation and enhance financial planning and literacy among Nigerians, Baige Technologies has launched its maiden super app, BaigeWallet. The app gives investors the flexibility to tie their savings and investment plans to a specific project or goal while earning competitive interest rates in the short and long term.

Users have the option of utilising several electronic payment channels such as USSD, bank transfers and debit cards to make scheduled transfers into their BaigeWallet wallets to enable activation on any of the various savings and investments available to them on the platform.

Speaking on the launch recently, Chief Future Officer, Baige Technologies, Adetayo Opadiran, said, “BaigeWallet is designed to enable users have a distinctive experience while saving and investing.

“The mobile application interface is built to encourage a smooth and hassle-free procedure in setting up various product plans that are in line with their financial goals and objectives while also providing an avenue for educating and enlightening them about effective financial planning and wealth management strategies.  We aim to ensure that users get real value and feel more confident in their capacity to improve wealth.”

Users can download the BaigeWallet application on their smartphones and kickstart their savings and investment journey on the app with as low as N2,000 minimum start amount.

Interests are paid monthly, and users can reinvest additional funds periodically in line with their cash flow and financial needs.

The invested funds are secured using the highest level of Internet security encryption and are managed professionally by Fortitudinal Asset Managers, a  Securities and Exchange Commission-regulated fund/portfolio manager.

BaigeWallet is available on Playstore and Appstore for Android and IOS devices.
