Gaorgaram Fishing and Cultural Festival

This tourist destination is located in Jakusko Local Government Area. The famous fishing and cultural festival began in 1940, at that time, the Bade Native Authority was solely responsible for funding of the festival. However, in 1987, the festival was accorded international recognition when the state Government took over the funding and management of the festival.
