MIYAN WAKE

REQUIREMENTS
- 2 medium heap Soft Bones
- 1 teaspoon Gauta
- 1 small bulb Onion
- 4 medium size Fresh Pepper
- 1½ cups Dehulled Beans
- 2 cooking spoons Palm Oil
- 1 cake Dawadawa
- 2 Maggi cubes
- 2½ litres of Water
- Salt to taste
What you do
Boil the dehulled beans in 2½ litres of water till soft. Mash it thoroughly.
Add the palm oil, soft bones, ground dawadawa and pepper into the mashed beans and cook for 10 minutes.
Add the chopped onions and maggi cubes.Add 3 cups of water to the soup and the gauta.Stir and cook for 5 minutes.Add salt to taste.
Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes then serve with tuwon shinkafa or tuwon alkama.
