Tech Innovator Empowers Nigerian Youth with Free Blockchain & Web3 Training

Tech innovator empowers youths with Blockchain, Web3 skills

In a bold move to unlock digital opportunities for young Nigerians, renowned tech innovator Hanu Fejiro has launched a free, hands-on training program in cryptocurrency, blockchain, and decentralised finance (DeFi). The initiative aims to equip youths with the knowledge and skills needed to achieve financial independence in today’s digital world.

Hosted via Telegram, the program is completely free and designed to be highly interactive. It features a practical curriculum covering everything from crypto fundamentals and security best practices to real-world blockchain applications across industries. Participants also benefit from live expert sessions, community learning, and opportunities to earn through task-based learning and project execution.

Speaking on the motivation behind the project, Fejiro said:

“What if the cure for cancer or world hunger is trapped in an uneducated mind? We must support everyone—young and old—to thrive in this digital age. My life goal is to train a million people and equip them to win in a world that’s evolving rapidly.”

The first training cycle, which brought together over 300 participants from the February and March 2025 cohorts, is scheduled to conclude by the end of March. Feedback from the participants has been overwhelmingly positive.

One trainee, Iyanuoluwa, noted:

“This training has deepened my understanding of digital currencies and blockchain. It’s given me the confidence to pursue new opportunities.”

Kareem, another participant, shared:

“I’ve learned how to identify promising airdrops and stay engaged with the crypto ecosystem. It’s been a truly rewarding experience.”

For Godwin, the training revealed practical money-making strategies:

“Now I know how to analyze top traders’ wallets, verify airdrops, and avoid scams.”

As cryptocurrency adoption grows worldwide—with tools like Bitcoin ETFs, stablecoins for cross-border payments, and Layer-2 networks like Arbitrum and Base—career opportunities in Web3 development, NFT project management, crypto marketing, and DeFi analytics are rapidly expanding.

To further support aspiring tech talents, Fejiro also announced plans to award 100 full scholarships to young Nigerians for the AltSchool Africa Diploma Program—a move aimed at preparing them for careers in emerging tech fields.

The next session of the Web3 training kicks off on April 28, 2025. Interested participants can apply through Fejiro’s social media platforms.

“We’re not just teaching skills—we’re building a movement,” Fejiro said. “It’s time for young Africans to lead in the digital revolution.”
