Big 5 Construct Nigeria 2024 Summit to Foster Industry Collaboration

This year’s Big 5 Construct Nigeria conference will emphasize the importance of collaboration among construction professionals.

According to the event organizers, the Big 5 Construct Nigeria conference will gather over 9,000 professionals and more than 150 exhibitors from 20 countries.

“The construction industry in Nigeria is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 2.4% from 2024 to 2028, driven by the government’s strategic focus on infrastructure development,” the organizers stated. “By prioritizing economic growth, increasing public and private investment in the housing sector, and enhancing external demand, Nigeria’s government is shaping both the construction industry and the nation’s future. The 4th edition of Big 5 Construct Nigeria will tap into the opportunities arising from ongoing and upcoming projects. The event is scheduled for September 24-26, 2024, at the Landmark Centre in Lagos.”

The event, which is the largest construction trade exhibition to date in Lagos, aims to connect industry professionals to new opportunities and foster partnerships. The timing of Big 5 Construct Nigeria coincides with a significant increase in construction activity across the country, particularly within Nigeria’s $128 billion construction market, creating demand for innovative products and solutions.

Mehtap Gürsoy, Portfolio Director of Construction at dmg Events, emphasized that the event attracts international companies and facilitates crucial partnerships and collaborations. These partnerships are key to delivering products, services, and expertise in a region undergoing dynamic growth.

The list of exhibitors has expanded, now covering the full construction value chain. This includes building interiors and finishes, building materials, concrete and cement, construction tools, personal protection equipment, digital construction, intelligent buildings, heavy construction, HVAC-R, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services, solar energy, and urban design and landscapes.
