Facebook set to mark 13th birthday with return of Friends Day videos
Facebook is celebrating its 13th birthday on Saturday, February 4 with the return of its Friends Day videos.

Friends Day videos will contain photos of users’ memories with friends, pre-populated by Facebook, and users will be able to edit those image choices and, naturally, share their Friends Day videos through their timeline.

“Through friendship, our world grows more connected, powerful things can happen, and lives and communities can be changed. Today, connecting is more important than ever,” said Oren Hod, Product Manager at Facebook.

“This Saturday, February 4, is Facebook’s 13th birthday, a day we call Friends Day. We’ll be sharing some stories of powerful connections made in our community, as well as launching products to celebrate friendship and encouraging people to take time to connect with their friends,” he concluded.
