From June 21st to 24th, disciples from over 13 countries throughout the world will be represented in Lagos, Nigeria as we celebrate our 3rd African Missions Conference for the SoldOut Discipling Movement! What documents and/or vaccines do I need to visit Nigeria?
The following will be needed:
- A Nigerian Visa (www.traveldocuments.com)
- The CDC recommends Yellow Fever vaccination
How will transportation be handled?
Once you’ve obtained your VISA, please send your traveling information to Tolani Abiodun (tolani.abiodun@usd21.org)
There will be designated protocol officers (greeters) to meet you on arrival to the airport. Upon reception of your itenerary, we will assign a greeter for you! Please your picture to Tolani so we will be able to welcome you at the airport!
How will housing be handled?
We’ve received a discounted rate at the beautiful Virginrose Resorts Hotel in Victoria Island (www.virginroseresorts.com) at the price of N35,000 ($117 USD) per night. The rate will apply from the night of Thursday, June 21st till the morning of Monday, June 25th. The total amount will be $585 USD.
NOTE: Please do not attempt to book hotel rooms online.Instead, carry funds on your person (not in your luggage) as greeters will be meeting your upon arrival to help exchange your money at the airport.
How will food be handled?
The registration cost will cover the Welcome Banquet at the beautiful Terra Kulture Restaurant (terrakulture.com)! Please bring funds to cover the rest of your meals. The Virginrose Resorts Hotel is equipped with a restaurant and room service. Also, some local church members will be able to assist you towards other great venues nearby!
Travels Tips for Safety/Percaution:
During your trip, we strongly advise for you to keep cash and any highly valuable items on your person, not in luggage. Unfortunately there has been cases of theft concerning shipped luggage.
